Our goal is to ensure your pet has a relaxing and fun stay at Pet-Ritz. Occasionally,
guests may need to have their program altered to meet these goals. We reserve the
right to change your pets program based on their needs.

Vaccine Policy: |
|
The safety of our guests is very important to us. That is why we require proof of
immunization records for all guests staying at Pet-Ritz. Our barking guests are
required to provide current shot records for Rabies, DHLPP (Distemper and Lepto)
and Bordetella
(Kennel Cough). We require the Bordetalla vaccination to be given every six months.
Feline guests are required to provide current records for Rabies, Distemper, and
Feline Leukemia/or negative Leukemia blood test within the past 90 days for outdoor cats and a negative test result in the last year for indoor cats.
ALL VACCINATIONS MUST BE GIVEN AT LEAST TEN DAYS PRIOR TO BOARDING.
For
the safety and health of all of our guests, this policy will be strictly adhered
to and no exceptions will be made. |

Check-In / Medications:
|
|
Prior to checking in to Pet-Ritz, our guests will be inspected for any signs of parasite infestation. If signs are
apparent, your pet will take advantage of our spa services before being taken to
their room. Guests who have soiled themselves will also take advantage of our full
pet spa. These fees will be added onto your bill at check out. Occasionally
our guests may require medication during their vacation at Pet-Ritz. Should your
pet require the Pet-Ritz staff to administer medications, we request that you bring
the prescription in the original bottle. In addition, please include your veterinarian's
instructions to guarantee proper administration of
medication.

Toys and Bedding:
|
|
For the safety of our guests, we ask that you not bring toys that may be a choking hazard including rawhides or
chewies. We require that your toy be indestructible
in nature and larger than 3
½ inches. Examples include large Kongs, Nyla rings, Goodieships, etc. We also have
a selection of approved toys to choose from at check-in.
If you choose to bring your own bedding, we ask that it be machine washable/dryable.
We strongly recommend using our own bedding. We cannot guarantee that any toys or
bedding brought in with your pet will be returned.

Holidays:
|
|
Most major holidays will require a 5 day minimum stay, or 5 day charge. Any
early pick up during the holidays, without a 72 hour notice will be charged for
the full period reserved. Most holidays will require a $50 non-refundable deposit
to be made in order to make the reservation. If the reservation is cancelled 3 weeks
prior to the start of our holiday season, a $50 credit will be placed on the clients
account for three months. If the reservation is cancelled two weeks prior to the
start of the holiday season, a $25 credit will be placed on the clients account
for six months. If the reservation is cancelled less than two weeks prior to the
start of the holiday season, the deposit is lost. |

Un-spayed females/Quarantine:
|
|
We do not accept females in heat. If a female goes into heat while at our kennel
there will be a $50 a day quarantine charge. If for any reason a dog needs to be
quarantined while boarding, there will be a $50 a day quarantine charge. . |
